It's been a month since my last weight loss update. Didn't mean to skip one.. just seemed to work out that way!
My ten-day-average for today is 206.4 pounds, down 5.85 pounds from 1 month ago, and down 3.2 pounds from 2 weeks ago.
New and worth celebrating is the fact that I am no longer obese! At 208 pounds I dropped out of the obese range and am now just merely overweight! This is new territory for me. I've been obese since longer than I've known what the word meant. It takes some getting used to.
New and not worth celebrating is a lovely little hernia. I see the surgeon about getting it fixed this coming week. Also this week I see another surgeon to see if there is anything that can be done about my ongoing spinal issues. Between the hernia and the back issues I have been a lot less active lately. I keep expecting the scale to stop dropping as a result. It hasn't. Yet. Proof that weight and weight-loss is more about the food you eat than the exercise you do? Maybe! :)
I am now over 90% of the way to my original goal of losing 300 pounds. I'm a couple pounds short of 90% of my newer goal of reaching a body weight of 173 pounds, for a total of 313 pounds weight loss. I remember when I was first starting out and looking to reach the 10% mark! Wow! Life sure does look a lot different from this point in the journey!
Happy Eating!
